Most “company values” are just… untold secrets…

Polite, non-threatening, copy-pasted from a thousand other mission statements.

👉 “Integrity. Innovation. Collaboration.”

Great. So does everyone else.

Real values are expensive.

They cost you something:
– A candidate who walks away.
– A client you choose not to serve.
– A boardroom moment where you say: “No. That’s not who we are.”

If your values don’t: ✅ Create friction ✅ Set fire to old habits ✅ Shape hiring, firing and pricing decisions

Then they’re not values. They’re hidden principles pretending to be strategy.
